These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services ("Services") of Lume Natural Pool Design, a trading name of Jack Edwards ("Lume", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Service Description

Lume Natural Pool Design provides:

AI-generated pool visualisations based on photos you provide
Indicative cost estimates for natural pool projects
Design consultation and design services
Introductions to independent, recommended pool builders
Information and resources about natural swimming pools

Lume provides visualisation, consultation, design and builder introductions. Lume does not carry out construction. Where we introduce you to a builder, that builder is an independent business that provides its own quotation, site survey, technical design, warranties and construction under a separate contract directly with you. Lume is not a party to that contract and is not responsible for the builder's work. Lume may receive a referral fee or commission if you engage a builder we introduce; you are under no obligation to proceed with any builder we suggest.

We will provide our Services to you with reasonable care and skill, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

2a. Cancellation and Refunds

Where you buy a paid service from us as a consumer at a distance (for example online), you normally have the right to cancel within 14 days of entering the contract under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you ask us to begin a paid service during the 14-day cancellation period, you may be charged for what has already been provided; and once a service has been fully performed with your agreement, the right to cancel may be lost. 3. User Responsibilities

When using our Services, you agree to:

Provide accurate and truthful information
Only upload photos that you own or have permission to use
Not use the Services for any unlawful purpose
Not attempt to interfere with the proper functioning of the website
Not upload any content that is offensive, harmful, or violates any third-party rights

4. AI Visualisations

Our AI-generated pool visualisations are provided for illustrative and planning purposes only. They represent an artistic interpretation of how a natural pool might look in your space. Please note:

Visualisations are not architectural drawings or construction plans
Final pool designs may differ from AI-generated images
Visualisations do not guarantee feasibility or planning permission
Professional site surveys are required before any construction

5. Cost Estimates

Any cost estimates provided through our Services are indicative only and should be used for initial budgeting purposes. Actual project costs may vary significantly based on:

Site-specific conditions and access
Ground conditions and excavation requirements
Design complexity and chosen features
Current material and labour costs
Local regulatory requirements

A formal quotation can only be provided after a site assessment and detailed design consultation.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and AI-generated visualisations created for you, is the property of Lume Natural Pool Design or its licensors. You may:

Use AI visualisations for personal planning and decision-making
Share visualisations with family members or professional advisors
Use visualisations in planning applications (where appropriate)

You may not use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

7. Privacy

Your use of our Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

8. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. In particular, we do not exclude or limit our liability for:

death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
any matter for which it would be unlawful for us to exclude or limit our liability, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to services carried out with reasonable care and skill.

Subject to the paragraph above, and to the extent permitted by law:

AI visualisations and cost estimates are provided for illustration and initial budgeting only, and are not a survey, technical design, guarantee of feasibility, or planning advice;
we are not responsible for the acts, omissions, quotations, workmanship or warranties of any independent builder we introduce, whose services are provided under a separate contract with you;
we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for losses arising from your own decision to proceed with any building works.

These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these external sites. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

10. Modifications
